We cordially invite you to a special evening at Cigar Lounge Havana 22, Frankopanska 22 — a place where history, art, and pleasure meet.
As part of Croatian Literature Day, we will pay tribute to lectors — esteemed readers who once worked in cigar factories, reading novels, poems, and newspapers aloud to workers as they rolled cigars. Their voices were windows to the world — amidst the tobacco smoke.
The evening will be shaped in their spirit: a book will be opened, words will be spoken, and a fine cigar will burn in the hand. Expertly selected drinks will accompany the reading and create an atmosphere that transports you to some bygone era, yet remains firmly rooted in the present.
Surrender to the magic of language and aromas. This is not just reading — this is a dedication to an almost forgotten art.
