Terra Magica Istra 2017

HM Terra Magica Zagreb Bubble Festival & Trapan Winery in Istria

2.6.2017.

Our day didn’t start early because the Welcome party lasted until the early hours :)
It all started with a short tour of the medieval part of Zagreb and we had a refreshment
stop at Zagreb Bubbles festival. We were privileged that Sanja Cabalier, owner and chef
of one of the top Croatian restaurants Apetit Restaurant & Bar, opened her booth on the
festival day before the fair started. After a short snack with Cohiba shorts, participants
departed to Istria - to village Sisan for a late lunch. Destination was Winery Trapan. We
tasted the food, wines and new Italian Regional Edition Flor de Cano - Casanovas kindly

provided by exclusive Habanos distributor in Italy - Diadema spa.

Habanos Moments - "Show Must Go On"

3.6.2017.

This event started Habanos Moments in 2008. Demian has tragically left us but tradition

still lives in his name.

We started with the program after morning beach refreshments with a traditional “Show
Must Go On” event. We matched freshly made ice cream by Flaviani Desserts from
Pula, made from dried figs, truffles and olive oil with freshly made classic Cohiba
Lanceros. Our dear friend Jhusat Hernandez Batista, torcedor from El Laguito factory in
Havana modified classic recipe together with Mr. Ajay Patel to make it a bit stronger and
give exclusive additional “kick”. Damian’s eternal Biska grappa glued all the flavors

together.

GALA DINER:

Launching of Camelot second regional edition, Ramon Allones – TERRA MAGICA
We celebrated at the Miramare restaurant in Valamar Isabella resort on the island of St.
Nikola. Opening cocktails were powered by H.Upmann - Magnum 46, Croatian Vintage
2005 paired with Champagne Exclusive Vintage 1993, Brut Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs.
Since Terra Magica is an omage to the region of Istria, wines selected followed
multinational picture of Istria with two Croatian wine makers Moreno Coronica
(Malvazija Coronica 2016) and Bruno Trapan (Revolution 2017 Premiere),
Slovenian Marijan Simčić (Rebula Opoka 2011) and our dearest Croatian-Italian Giorgio
Clai (Ottocento White 2013). Selection of the wines was done with one of Croatia’s best

sommeliers Mr. Sandi Paris.

Months before this evening we met with chef Mr. Mario Postružin, who is a big cigar
aficionado and left him a few Ramon Allones to inspire the menu. Mario did a great job
and dinner went smoothly till the finale with Santiago de Cuba 25, kindly provided by G3

Sprits, importer to Croatia and Slovenia.

The music scene was done by Joe Pandur and his amazing Jazz band.
There were a few nice surprises along the night. Presence of one of the biggest tobacco
legends Mr. Heinrich Villiger was a great privilege. Our sponsor Adorini humidors were
responsible for second surprise with their Habanero Rum. They blended the rum in
Germany from four Cuban selected rums and they created another small perfection on

this planet. Thank you Felix Spohn and  Torger Brunken .

The guests were a nice mixture of trade professionals, importers, retailers, members of
Russian and German cigar clubs and finally the most important local and international
cigar lovers. It is clear that the world of cigars is warm place of great friendship and good

times.

Thank you all for being a part of this and let’s meet again … anywhere.
